The parish council have had their accounts inspected by an auditor. The report of the auditor is available for you to view – it on the right below the picture.
Now that the auditor has inspected the accounts and information required, the parish council is required to submit a summary form to an auditor appointed by the government for what is known as a limited assurance review. Before this auditor looks at the information provided there is a period of time when anyone can look through the accounts and flag up anything that they feel warrants investigation – this is known as the Public Right to View and the time frame is set out by law, runs for 30 working days and must include the first 10 working days of July (why – who knows?!) So to comply with the law, the notice of the period is set out on our website and in the noticeboard by the Community Centre. If any resident wishes to be provided with any information pertaining to the financial period from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025, please do get in touch as per the notice. The notice can be found under the picture, and the financial information that the parish council was required to provide (a summary of the position) can also be found there.
If you would like to view it in an alternative format, please get in touch.
The information is also available on another webspage:
