If you are an Elton village resident, an adult and would like to contribute to the village, we have a Councillor vacancy. The meetings take place each month (except August) at 7pm in the Community Centre or remotely.

20mph Speed Limit
In January 2016 the Council's Cabinet voted to introduce 'signed only'20 mph speed limits, where appropriate, on all residential roads and outside schools.
Kieran Collins of the Cheshire West Highways Commission has assessed our road and confirmed that it does meet the criteria for a signed only 20mph speed limit along with other roads in the area. More information can be found on the attached PDF file.
